Mitsubishi Elevator Installation Process

Quality You Can Trust….Safety in Every Step

1. Site Inspection & Planning

Our team conducts a comprehensive evaluation of the building to determine the optimal shaft requirements, structural conditions, and connection points suitable for the selected elevator model. Safety measures and equipment logistics are also planned thoroughly.

Key inspections include:

  • Hoistway dimensions (width, depth), plumbness, overhead clearance, and pit depth
  • Structural load-bearing points and rail/machine supports (for both machine-room and machine-room-less models)
  • M&E interfaces including main/backup power supply, grounding, ventilation, lighting, and work areas
  • Building usage patterns such as number of floors, traffic flow, peak-time behavior, and building type

Following this assessment, the appropriate elevator model, speed, capacity, and safety/energy-saving options are finalized. Shop drawings and a method statement are then prepared for approval in coordination with the client and main contractor.

2. Preparation of the Installation Site

The installation area is prepared in accordance with strict standards, including structural readiness, machine room conditions (if applicable), and electrical systems, ensuring the site is fully equipped for the installation process.

3. Installation of Main Components

Certified technicians install the elevator’s mechanical and electrical systems in compliance with approved specifications. This includes guide rails, the car frame, hoisting machinery, and all safety devices—each assembled following Mitsubishi’s internationally recognized procedures.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance

Upon completion of installation, our engineers perform thorough system testing, including drive performance, braking systems, and emergency functions. These evaluations ensure that the elevator operates safely, reliably, and at optimal efficiency.

5. Handover & User Training

After passing all inspections, the elevator is officially handed over to the client. Our team also provides operational and basic maintenance training to ensure safe and proper use of the equipment.

With a proud track record across landmark buildings nationwide, Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) is committed to delivering installation excellence grounded in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction at every stage.
