The 5th MET SAFETY AND SKILLS OLYMPIC 2026

Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Managing Director Mr. Katsuya Kawabata, held the 5th Safety and Maintenance Skills Olympics on October 9, 2026, at the Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Training Center.

The competition aimed to strengthen safety awareness, enhance elevator maintenance skills, and promote the sharing of best practices across service centers. It also aimed to improve maintenance quality and customer satisfaction while boosting motivation and engagement among technicians.

The event brought together selected competitors from all 29 service centers across Thailand, as well as representatives from MELCO Elevator Lao Sole Co., Ltd. (MLAO), a Mitsubishi Elevator group company in Laos, and the Cambodian branch of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand). The competition provided a valuable platform for technicians to demonstrate their expertise, exchange knowledge, and reinforce their commitment to the highest standards of safety and maintenance excellence.

The event was also honored by the presence and support of distinguished customers from Siam Commercial Bank PCL., Asset World Corp PCL., and guests from Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions Corporation (MEBS), Mitsubishi Elevator Asia Co., Ltd., (AMEC) and the ASEAN Regional Headquarters (RHQ). We sincerely appreciate their kind encouragement for the finalists and the valuable feedback on the competition, which led to the success of the Olympic.
