MET Joins Reforestation Activity with Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation

Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MET), led by Mr. Katsuya Kawabata, Managing Director, participated in a reforestation activity organized by the Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation together with Mitsubishi Electric Group companies in Thailand. The initiative reflects the Group’s ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable natural resource management.

The activity was conducted under the “Community Forest Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation Project,” which has been continuously implemented for nine consecutive years. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Royal Forest Department, the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), local communities, and more than 500 employee volunteers from 11 companies.

The initiative aims to restore community forest areas, enhance biodiversity, and strengthen the ecosystem’s long-term carbon sequestration capacity. The activity took place at Ban Nong Kro Community Forest, Wang Dan Subdistrict, Kabin Buri District, Prachin Buri Province, on 20 June 2026.
