MET chanting ceremony for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’s royal funeral

Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Electric Group companies in Thailand jointly served as co-hosts of the royal merit-making ceremony and funeral chanting service in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, held at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, Grand Palace.

On 29th May 2026, Mr. Katsuya Kawabata, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with the company’s executives and employees, participated in the royal merit-making ceremony in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Representatives from Mitsubishi Electric Group companies in Thailand also joined as co-hosts of the funeral chanting service.

The ceremony was held to express the participants’ profound loyalty and deepest gratitude for Her Majesty’s immeasurable benevolence and gracious contributions to the well-being of the Thai people throughout her reign.
