Mitsubishi Electric Driving the Future of Sustainable Smart Buildings

Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric Kang Yong Watana Co., Ltd., recently hosted a seminar under the theme “Smart Building Next: Moving Towards a Sustainable Smart Building Future” in Phuket. The event aimed to share the latest insights on energy solutions, building technologies, and modern vertical transportation innovations with business partners, real estate developers, project owners, architects, and building management professionals across Southern Thailand.

The seminar featured Mitsubishi Electric’s latest technologies and innovations, covering elevators, escalators, air conditioning systems, electrical appliance, all and intelligent air management solutions designed to enhance building efficiency, support modern lifestyles, and promote sustainable building development. One of the key highlights was an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) simulation of the high-speed elevator at Shanghai Tower, operating at an impressive speed of 1,230 meters per minute. This unique experience allowed participants to virtually experience world-class elevator technology firsthand, showcasing the future potential of smart building innovations.

The seminar was held at Phuket Merlin Hotel on May 27, 2026, and attracted participants from various sectors within the real estate and building management industries. Attendees actively exchanged knowledge and perspectives on emerging technologies throughout the event. This seminar reaffirmed Mitsubishi Electric’s commitment to advancing Thailand’s smart building and building management industries in line with global technological standards, while supporting the sustainable growth of Thailand’s real estate sector for the future.
