On February 7, 2025, Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MET) officially opened a new service center in Chiang Mai Province.This expansion aims to improve service efficiency and support the increasing demand for elevators and escalators in Northern region, Thailand. Chiang Mai, as a major economic and tourism hub, continues to experience significant infrastructure growth, with the rising number of high-rise buildings driving a need for advanced vertical transportation solutions.
Mr.Katsuya Kawabata, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co.,Ltd., emphasized the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality service to customers across Thailand. To date, Mitsubishi Elevator has supplied over 25,000 elevators and escalators nationwide, including more than 1,500 units in Northern Thailand. With the growing number of elevators under service contracts and an increasing team of technicians, relocating our service center to a larger facility was essential to enhance operational efficiency. The scale of this demand requires the same level of service excellence we provide to major projects such as One Bangkok, King Power Mahanakhon, and KingBridge Tower. To maintain our high customer satisfaction, expanding our service center was a strategic decision to meet the trust and expectations placed in us,” said Mr. Kawabata.

One of the key innovations is "M's BRIDGE", Mitsubishi Elevator’s latest remote maintenance system. “This advanced system utilizes cutting-edge information and communication technology combined with sophisticated data processing capabilities. It enables real-time analysis and proactive issue detection, allowing elevators to be continuously monitored and maintained 24/7. Our goal is to provide exceptional service today while shaping the future of elevator maintenance,” said Mr. Kawabata.
