Milestones

1964
Mitsubishi building systems i.e. electrical equipment, air conditioning, elevator etc. were sold by Worachak Engineering Supply Co., Ltd., (WES) founded by Mr. Phaisan Sirirat-usdorn.
1977
Established as the joint venture among Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Ltd. (Japan), Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and Worachak Engineering Limited. under Corporate Name: Worachak International Co., Ltd. (Official company anniversary December 20, 1977) sold mainly “Mitsubishi” Elevator, Escalator and Air conditioning system.
1982
Installed elevators at Bangkok Bank (headquarter), the first high-rise building
1984
Initiated turnkey package of building system e.g. air conditioning system, electrical system, plumbing & fire protection system,environmental system, PABX Telephone System, Information & Telecommunication System, Office Automation System, Computer System.
1985
Installed the highest escalator in Thailand at Landmark Hotel
1993
Relocated the head office from Silom Road to Bangna Towers, Debaratana Road
1994
Installed the first spiral escalators in Thailand at Central City Bangna
1998
Installed the highest escalators in Thailand at MRT blue line, Silom station (Public transportation category)
2008
Initiated CSR campaign for environmental and natural resources called “One lift you need, one seed we plant” which is an afforest activity in several locations

Established the First Elevator & Escalator Training Center in Thailand
2009
Company name change from Worachak International Co., Ltd. to Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MET)

Introduced CSR campaign, Hometown School Development to unite the employees and also return some appreciation to their schools. Later on MET partnered with Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University International Programme (INDA) for the design and construction
2011
Installed the highest escalators in Thailand installed at Terminal-21 Asoke (shopping centre category)
2012
Secured the fastest elevator in Thailand at KingPower Mahanakhon project, the tallest building in Thailand.
2013
Commenced a bilateral cooperation on Dual Vocational Training curriculum with many technical colleges

Initiated CSR project for children’s welfare regarding elevators and escalators safety and correct usage called “Care for Kids” also introduced company’s mascot, EQ1; a robot who ensures a safe and smooth ride for elevators and escalators
2014
Established a new training center, Mitsubishi Elevator Training Center, the largest vertical transportation facility in Southeast Asia
2015
Official opening of Mitsubishi Training Center and Celebrated over 12,000 units of service contract
2016
Installed the fastest elevators in Thailand at Mahanakhon project, the tallest building in the country

Installed the highest escalators in Thailand at Terminal-21 Korat (shopping center category)
2017
Celebrate company’s 40th anniversary
2018
Installed the highest escalators in Thailand installed at Terminal-21 Pattaya (shopping center category)
2019
ONE BANGKOK, the most volume secured project of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand), Elevator 250 units and Escalator 23 units where is the first project that install "Double Deck" Elevator in Thailand.

Melco Elevator Lao Sole Co., Ltd. was established as 100% subsidiary of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
